As President of the North American Pastoral Center for Czech Catholics, Jitka Hromek Vaitla provides vision and leadership to strengthen the Center’s mission of nurturing Czech Catholic faith and heritage across generations. She works closely with the Board of Directors, clergy, and community partners to guide strategic direction, distribute grants, and expand opportunities for spiritual growth and connection between Czech and North American communities. With more than 15 years of experience leading international programs, Jitka has developed and overseen initiatives that bring people together across cultures, faiths, and nations. She has designed values-based leadership programs, coordinated global gatherings, and cultivated partnerships with academic, religious, and civic institutions. Her leadership has consistently focused on advancing dialogue, building inclusive communities, and empowering individuals to live their faith in action. She is passionate about ensuring that Czech Catholic traditions, faith practices, and cultural heritage continue to flourish in North America.
